Where and When:
Join us at
Trinity Bellwoods Park at 790 Queen St. West, Toronto (click here for map) from
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on National RDOG DAY, Saturday, September 26, in support of responsible dog ownership. Be a part of RDOG Day and join us for the "Walk of Support" at 11:00 a.m. beginning at the Queen St. main gates.

Bring your family, bring your friends and bring your dogs...and be sure to bring a leash for the walk! We are looking for lots and lots of dogs for a great display.

The first 150 RDOG walk participants will receive a free goodie bag!

Participate in the RDOG DAY "Walk of Support" and wear an RDOG arm band.

In addition to the walk, there will be Canine Good Neighbour tests conducted (note: proof of vaccination certificate is required before a dog can enter),
Canada's indigenous breeds presentation, pet first aid, complimentary doggy treats and RDOG supporter booths. With lots of room for everyone, feel free to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day!

PLUS, all RDOG participants are eligible to receive special RDOG coupons courtesy of our affiliates PetLynx, Petsecure and Iams. For Clubs hosting RDOG Events, please feel free to print the coupons and share them with event participants as a reward for their support of Responsible Dog Ownership and CKC RDOG Day. Please click here to redeem your RDOG coupons.

RDOG event Participants will also receive a complimentary Iams “Puppy Kit” at their respective RDOG event, while quantities last. Click here to view a sample.

All RDOG Supporters stand behind responsible dog ownership and will continue to do so beyond RDOG WEEK.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Recycling and regular waste containers are available throughout the park, and a container for dog waste will be available in the RDOG Event area - so let's all do our part to keep the Park looking 'green'!

Parking: Street parking is available on the side streets surrounding the Park (
Crawford St. and Gore Vale Ave.) and meter parking is available on Queen St. There is also a "Green P" parking lot very close by at 803 Richmond St. West ($1 per 1/2 hr, Max $6.00). Click here to view a map.

RDOG Purpose
The Canadian Kennel Club is committed to the furthering of responsibility for the ownership of dogs in
Canada. As experienced and knowledgeable dog enthusiasts, we come together as members to support the dog-owning public by educating those owners in the responsibilities associated with bringing a dog into the home. This commitment brings with it significant responsibility - to the dog, the family and to the greater community in which you live.

From evaluating your readiness for a new dog, to determining the breed that is right for you, plus integrating the dog into the home through advice on health, training and canine good citizenship, CKC members across Canada provide the support, advice and guidance to families interested in canine companionship, to better enable Canadians to be responsible dog owners.
