The Canadian Kennel Club is proud to announce that the Canadian Agility Team (CAT) will be competing in the FCI Agility World Championships, to be held in Basel, Switzerland, October 6-8, 2006.
The FCI World Agility Championship is the premier agility event in the world. With over 30 countries competing for the “Gold” as teams and as individuals, the exciting world of Canine Agility competitions has greatly expanded since the first version of an Agility event took place in 1978 at Crufts in England.
The journey of the Canadian Agility Team to the FCI World Agility Championships is an expensive endeavor. As part of the team's fundraising efforts, the Canadian Agility Team will be holding fundraisers throughout the year.
The CKC would like to congratulate all 2006 Canadian Agility Team Members for their achievements to date and wish them much success as they compete in world competition.
