CKC Member Breeders are required to adhere to mandatory standards and requirements relating to the proper breeding, maintenance and selling of their puppies outlined in the CKC Code of Ethics and Code of Practice for CKC Member Breeders.

Bedlington Terrier

Once known as the Rothbury Terrier, this energetic and courageous breed was developed in the north of England during the 1870s by coal miners who wanted a terrier-of-all-work – a dog that could swim down an otter, course a rabbit and fight in the pit.
