Hello and Welcome to Freestyle Retrievers. My name is Colleen Roy and I currently reside in Northern Ontario. Although I grew up with Springer Spaniels and Labrador Retrievers, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the Flat Coated Retriever almost 21 years ago. I could not see my life without this elegant, intelligent, versatile breed. They are truly the Peter Pan's of the Dog world and absolutely love their people. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to a wonderful breeder who has been a fantastic mentor. Both my male and female are currently the record holders for Best In Shows on this breed in Canada. Although I show my dogs, they are first and foremost loving family companions who reside in my home along with my miniature wire hair dachshunds.
