Welcome to Doghill Wheatens. We are a selective breeder dedicated to raising healthy, happy, well mannered Wheaten Terriers with wonderful temperament. Our puppies are home-raised as a part of our family - we do not operate a kennel. They are well socialized from birth with people and our adult Wheatens. Our C.K.C. champion breeding girls are rigorously tested every six months and bred only to quality males. We are confident in offering a three year written health guarantee. We begin crate training after the puppies receive their first vaccinations. At this time they are also allowed outdoors for the first time. They are ready to go to homes when they are nine weeks old. Following a thorough process which includes a questionnaire, personal visit and interview, approved families are placed on our waiting list on a first come, first pick basis. We do not assign a puppy. Your puppy will pick you. Families visit based on their position on the waiting list and meet all of the available puppies. It may take an hour, or five or six, but you will find that one puppy, over all the others, will bond with you. It is a remarkable process and one of the true joys of breeding. Visitors are welcome by appointment to meet us and our Wheaten family. There is no obligation and we do not take deposits at any time. We want to find the very best homes for our puppies. Once a Doghill Wheaten owner, you will receive from us annual updates on the latest in Wheaten health, foods and testing. It is our lasting commitment to you and your Wheaten.
