Notice to Conformation & Obedience Clubs in Ontario Re: Available Priority Dates

In accordance with Chapter VI, Shows and Trials, Section G, Priority Rights, Subsection 4 of the Policy and Procedures Manual, this is to notify all Conformation and Obedience Clubs in Ontario that the priority dates listed below, previously held by the NORFOLK KENNEL & OBEDIENCE CLUB and the BLUEWATER KENNEL CLUB have been released:

April 01-02-03, 2016   SIMCOE ON
 
 
CONFORMATION SHOWS & OBEDIENCE TRIALS
 
July 05-06-07, 2016    BLYTH ON
 
Any club interested in obtaining these priority dates must submit a written application to CKC Head Office, Attention Event Planning Department, Shows and Trials Division, 200 Ronson Drive, Suite 400, Etobicoke, Ontario M9W 5Z9 on or before August 21, 2015.
 
If only one application is received, the priority dates will be granted to that club provided it meets all other applicable requirements. 
 
If more than one application is received, the priority dates will be granted to the qualified club that has maintained its recognition with the CKC for the longest time.  If more than one application is received from clubs having the same earliest recognition date, a draw shall take place between these clubs and the winner of the draw will be granted the dates.  Applicants will be given an opportunity to send a representative to observe the draw.
 
The current term of priority dates will end at the end of 2016. All priority dates for the term 2017 to 2021 will be reviewed and we will communicate with clubs before the end of 2015.
