Dog Eyes Magazine: Skye Terriers, Afghans and more

You may have seen the new, glossy Dog Eyes Magazine (DEM) on a newsstand and been struck with its cover image; Dog Eyes. That winter issue boasted a feature, accompanied by beautiful photos, on one of our rarer DogEyesSM.PNGbreeds, The Dandie Dinmont Terrier, written by an esteemed CKC member and international judge.

The spring issue, on stands May 15th, promises to feature more intoxicating purebred dog words and images. You’ll discover the history of one of the oldest terrier breeds, the Skye Terrier, and its heritage in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, enjoy inspiring images of the elegant Afghan and delight to New York Times' bestselling author and trainer Jennifer Arnold's description of birth and the first stages of puppyhood.

Launched in May 2016, Dogs Eyes Magazine is an international publication with a bookish feel, featuring bestselling authors and stunning photography, covering a wide range of topics including art, culture, nature, current issues, humour and fiction.

If you would like to have a closer look at Canada’s newest glossy magazine dedicated to life with dogs, you can find a copy at Indigo/Chapters, Shoppers, Loblaws, Sobeys, Walmart, and more or use the online Magfinder link to find your nearest retail location in North America.
