Temporary Club Event Policy Changes to Support Clubs During COVID-19

Due to the postponement and cancellation of club events because of the impact of COVID-19, the CKC Board passed the following motion at a recent special board meeting:

"THAT, due to the results of the COVID-19 crisis, the CKC Board authorizes staff, after due consideration and collaboration with the parties involved including any or all Directors affected, to allow for reasonable exceptions to existing Policies and Procedures as well as Event Rules and Regulations.  These exceptions should note for what period of time they cover and can pertain to the rescheduling of cancelled events and also any future planned events that require exceptions or amendments to allow for issues that could adversely affect them caused by COVID-19.”

This motion allows flexibility for clubs and staff as we work together to support our sport during this challenging time.
