Notice to All Obedience Trial Exhibitors Re: Grand Master Obedience Trial Champion Title
This is a communication to exhibitors in Obedience Trials with regard to the change to the Grand Master Obedience Trial Champion (GMOTCH) title. The change is in the Obedience Trial and Rally Obedience Trial Rules and Regulations effective January 1, 2024.
The only change to the title is the number of different judges required.

14.4.3
The requirements are:
a) a minimum score of 195 points in either of the Open B classes and the Utility B class at the same trial at 10 separate trials;
b) pairs must be earned under a minimum of 10 8 different judges. A pair may be counted under two (2) different judges, provided it is earned in the same trial;
c) a High in Trial with a score of 195 or higher out of either of the Open B classes;
d) a High in Trial with a score of 195 or higher out of the Utility B class.
It is important to note that this title will not be issued retroactively.
Dogs that met the requirements prior to January 1, 2024, with only 8 different judges, will be required to enter into a trial in 2024 and earn the required qualifying scores at least one time.
