Notice to Clubs Re: Club Executive

As clubs may be dealing with changes in executive over the next few months, please be reminded of the following amendment to CKC Policy and Procedures Manual, Chapter V, Club Policy A (effective July 2nd, 2024):
 
Section A [General]
(15) The President, Vice-President, and either the Secretary and/or Treasurer of all CKC recognized clubs must be Canadian Kennel Club members in good standing.  The Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer) and Directors of all CKC recognized clubs must be residents of Canada.  The names and offices held by these members must be reported to The Canadian Kennel Club within thirty (30) days of an election or filing of a vacancy together with a copy of any changes to the current constitution and/or by-laws of the club. Failure to comply may jeopardize the club’s recognition and/or events.
 
Please ensure that the club forwards all changes in executive to the CKC at clubrelations@ckc.ca within 30 days.  CKC Policy in its entirety can be reviewed at www.ckc.ca.  Please contact clubrelations@ckc.ca with any questions.
