Executive Director Hiring Update


The search continues for the next Executive Director for the Canadian Kennel Club. 

To assist with the process, the Executive Selection Committee has acquired the assistance of the executive search and recruitment firm Odger Berndtson. With over 50 years of experience, Odgers Berndtson specializes in finding senior talent for businesses and organizations across over 50 sectors. 

Assisted by Odgers Berndtson the committee is committed to ensuring an equitable and fair process is followed throughout the search for CKC’s next Executive Director, as described in CKC’s By-laws and Policies & Procedures: Chapter I, Administration: Section N, Executive Director. 

Qualified members are encouraged to apply for the position, with bilingualism a strong asset. Applications should be submitted online no later than November 20th, 2020, at https://www.odgersberndtson.com/en/careers/16859.

The final timing of hiring will revolve around finding a suitable candidate that can fill the requirements of the position. The job posting may be relisted to accommodate this if a suitable candidate is not found during the current submission timeframe.

Despite the tight time frame, we are confident that the best candidate with the right experience to lead the Club through the many important issues in its immediate future will be found.
