Beaucerons des Monts du Lac is dedicated to the preservation and breeding of exceptional Beaucerons by Joanne Boudreault and her husband, Eric Vavassori. We have lived with, exhibited, and studied Beaucerons since 1989, and have been selectively breeding them since 1997. Together, we bring more than five decades of combined experience in pedigreed dog breeding, guided by a deep respect for the integrity, character, and heritage of this remarkable French breed.
We are located in Amaranth, Ontario, just 15 minutes north of Orangeville and approximately 75 minutes north of Toronto. Our Beaucerons are raised in a structured, attentive environment where they develop into confident, stable, and loyal companions.
Our breeding program is centered on preserving the true essence of the Beauceron: strength without harshness, intelligence without nervousness, and devotion without fragility. We place the highest priority on sound temperament, correct structure, and working ability, ensuring that each dog reflects the noble character and quiet confidence that define the breed.
Beaucerons from our program are first and foremost members of our family. They are thoughtfully placed with owners who appreciate their depth, sensitivity, and unwavering loyalty. Over the years, our dogs have become cherished companions, guardians, and partners to families around the world.
All dogs in our breeding program undergo comprehensive health testing. We stand behind every puppy we produce and provide lifetime support to each family, regardless of the dog’s age. Our responsibility does not end when a puppy leaves—it continues for the entirety of the dog’s life. www.beauceron-north-america.com
