About 6 years ago we discovered the Lagotto Romagnolo breed and fell in love. We were looking for a purebred dog that would not shed, was medium size and could keep us active. We discovered that at one point, the Lagotti had almost become extinct. Being a rare breed, we liked that we could have a hand in preserving their lineage while bringing attention to their value as a companion dog. We are a small breeder with 1 breeding female Rhéa Lité and one retired femal Nuvola Latte, both from the same breeder in France and Regun Udor aka: Santino from Italy. Unlike some breeders, we breed for companionship and support only. We would not recommend the Lagotto Romagnolo to a first time dog owner, but for the experienced owner, they can be one of the best breeds to have as an active companion. Although our dogs have good genetic makeup and come from Grand Champion bloodlines, we breed for companionship and look for families who are interested in providing a puppy with a stable, fun loving and active lifestyle that does not include the pressures of the show ring. We live on a 30-acre farm surrounded by crown land that provides the most natural and healthy environment for our dogs. They get to use their highly developed sense of smell and intellectual abilities to track wildlife and dig for treats. One of their favorite pastimes is to splash in the creek and explore the wilderness. They keep watch over our farm animals and play with our grandchildren when they come over. After a long day they curl up on the couch or relax in their kennel for a rest. If you are interested in one of our puppies, please contact us for health records and an information questionnaire that we require all interested families fill out.
