The Canadian Kennel Club is pleased to announce the launch of the Future Leaders Committee (FLC) and is inviting new and emerging CKC members to apply to join. The committee was established to strengthen the CKC's commitment to engaging, supporting, and developing emerging leaders within the CKC community.
The Future Leaders Committee will provide members with opportunities to learn about CKC governance, programs, committees, and events while helping identify ways to strengthen member engagement and leadership development across the organization.
We are currently seeking five (5) volunteer members to join the Committee:
- Two (2) members with experience in Conformation
- Three (3) members with experience in Performance Events
Committee members will have the opportunity to:
- Learn more about CKC operations, governance, and strategic priorities.
- Develop leadership and volunteer experience.
- Connect with experienced CKC leaders and mentors.
- Provide feedback and perspectives on issues affecting newer and emerging members.
- Help build pathways for future member engagement and participation within the CKC community.
This is an exciting opportunity for members who are passionate about the future of the CKC and want to contribute to the long-term success of Canada's largest organization dedicated to purebred dogs.
Interested voting members in good standing are encouraged to apply and put their names forward to join the Committee.
