CKC Announces Scent Detection Kit Recipients


More than 900 CKC members entered for a chance to receive a CKC Scent Detection Kit, demonstrating the increasing interest in one of CKC’s fastest-growing performance events.

The draw was held during the 2026 CKC Annual General Meeting, and we are pleased to announce the five recipients:
  1. Victoria Weber (Zone 10)
  2. Karin Beeler (Zone 12)
  3. Sara Manzi (Zone 7)
  4. Linda Horner (Zone 8)
  5. Brian Howlett (Zone 10)

Congratulations to all five winners!

Scent Detection encourages dogs to use their natural scenting abilities while building confidence, focus, and teamwork between dogs and their handlers. The strong response to this initiative reflects the enthusiasm CKC members have for exploring new activities and strengthening their bond with their dogs.
