Authorization and Grant of Permission to CKC to Use Photograph

I hereby authorize and grant to the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish the photograph (the “Photograph”) that I have voluntarily submitted as well as my name, my dog’s call and registered names, my dog’s breed and my kennel name for use on CKC’s website, CKC’s Annual Report and digital publications, including but not limited to, the monthly Bulletin e-newsletter, Kennel & Bench, blog, social media and in any promotion related to the CKC’s website and digital publications. I understand and agree that promotion related to CKC’s website and digital publications, which may include my Photograph, may appear in print or digital format on CKC’s platforms including but not limited to social media, CKC’s website, newsletter and email. I understand and agree that CKC may cut, edit, crop or arrange my Photograph in any way but will not edit a dog’s structure or general appearance. I acknowledge that, whenever possible, CKC will provide credit to the photographer, breeder and owner, but this is dependent on the use of the photo and is at CKC’s discretion. I hereby certify that if I am a CKC member, I am a CKC member in good standing. I certify that I have the full legal right to grant to CKC the right to publish the Photograph and I agree that granting CKC the right to publish my photograph gives me no rights of ownership whatsoever in CKC’s use of the photo. I understand that I retain ownership of the copyright of my Photograph as its author or owner and I am free to publish and republish it wherever I wish and in whatever medium I want. I release CKC, its contractors and its employees from liability for any claims by me or any third party in connection with my submission of the Photograph to CKC.
