The Canadian Kennel Club is pleased to congratulate Jessica Rock – the recipient of this year’s
CKC-sponsored student award in support of the University of Prince Edward Island, Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC).
Each year, the CKC makes a financial donation towards a student award to support Canadian veterinary colleges like AVC.
Dwain McLean, CKC Board Member for New Brunswick and P.E.I., presented the award to Todd Stoddard, who accepted the award on behalf of Jessica, at the Atlantic Veterinary College Recognition Night, October 8, 2014.
Fourth-year student Jessica cites her grandmother as the major influence for her love of animals and keen interest in the heritage of dog breeds and is the proud owners of four pets, including two smooth Fox Terriers. Jessica is grateful for having worked with many outstanding teachers and mentors throughout her life, including many members of the Atlantic dog community. Congratulations Jessica! CKC wishes you continued success in all your future endeavors.
