Field Class (Specialty Only)
This class is optional at Specialty shows for breeds that have performance events in the field. Dogs entered in this class must have attained a title or placement in a field trial or test. This class is to be judged prior to Best of Breed judging with winners of each sex competing for Best of Breed. Dogs entered in these classes may be spayed or neutered.
Prior to January 1, 2015, the Field Class was considered unofficial.
When clubs offer the Field Class, the class is to be judged prior to Best of Breed judging with the winner of each sex competing for Best of Breed. The Field Class must be indicated on the Event Date Application and it must be advertised in the Premium List.
