Conformation Show Rules & Regulations

Please note the following NEW change that was carried by the Board of Directors of CKC at the March 2016 Board Meeting.
 
12           BREEDS, CLASSES, AWARDS & SWEEPSTAKES
12.3        Awards
12.3.1     (k) Judging for this award shall be awarded at every show and shall precede the selection of Best in Show. The judging of Reserve Best in Show shall be completed by the same judge who judges Best in Show.
 
If a puppy wins Reserve Best in Show, it then competes for Best Puppy in Show only with the Best Puppy in Group winner of the Group from which the Best in Show winner was chosen. 

Note: For Top Dogs(Conformation) as of January 1 2018, the Reserve Best in Show will be awarded top dog points based on the number of dogs in show minus the number of dogs defeated in the group from which the Best in Show winner was awarded.
