Canadian Eskimo Dogs Gain FCI Recognition

The Canadian Kennel Club is pleased to announce that the indigenous dog of the Canadian arctic -- the Canadian Eskimo Dog (CED) -- has been officially accepted by the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) on a definitive basis in Group 5 under standard #211. The breed is eligible for entry in working class at all FCI international CACIB shows. We are delighted at the prospect for international exposure and growth for this native Canadian breed.
