FCI Announces Collaboration to Advance Health of Brachycephalic breeds

FCI recently announced a collaboration with Animal Health Trust and BOAS Research group at the University of Cambridge, to monitor and improve the health of breeds affected by Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS).
 
The parties plan to develop guidelines for breeders to help them enhance the health of these popular breeds. Results of these programs will be monitored over the next five to ten years in order to evaluate their effectiveness and determine if other strategies are required.
