Dr. Eric Carnegy owns and operates a full-service veterinary clinic in Halifax, Nova Scotia. With over 40 years of veterinary medical experience, Dr. Carnegy has a true passion for his profession and animals.
His clinic currently is the only provider of total reproductive services in the Atlantic Provinces. Dr. Carnegy works closely with breeders throughout the entire breeding process, offering much needed specialized services and procedures. In 2004 Dr. Carnegy expanded his clinic to include an ICSB canine semen processing/storage center, a service many breeders in the area previously had limited access to. With his extensive knowledge of dog breeds and commitment to ongoing education on canine reproduction, his work supporting breeders is credited as positively impacting breed health in the Atlantic Region for generations to come.
Dr. Carnegy is an active member of the Canadian Kennel Club. He is involved with the Halifax Kennel Club and is a regular exhibitor at local dog shows with his Leonbergers and English Cocker Spaniels. As someone who is so clearly aligned with each and every one of CKC’s values, the Board of Directors is pleased that Dr. Carnegy will serve as CKC’s
Honourary Veterinarian for 2020.
