Explore how optimal nutrition can impact the health and fertility of the bitch from conception, gestation, whelping and lactation. Nutritional management of the litter from nursing to weaning and transition to new homes will be explored, as well as troubleshooting and common myths and misconceptions.

Shoshana is a proud Registered Veterinary Technician who enjoys sharing and igniting a passion for veterinary nutrition in her peers. In her current role as the Veterinary Nutrition Specialty Technician with the Clinical Nutrition Service at the Ontario Veterinary College, Shoshana utilizes a broad scope of her skills in clinical practice and research, while supporting hospitalized patients, veterinary students, interns, and residents.
Shoshana is an active mentor and member of the Academy of Veterinary Nutrition Technicians and chair of the Outreach Committee with the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Nutrition. She has previously spoken about canine nutrition at conferences such as the WSAVA World Congress. In her free time, Shoshana trains and competes with her German Shepherds, Kinetic, Iron and Xenon in several dog sports. Shoshana and her family are active members of the T.O.P. Working Dog Club, the German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada and the Kitchener-Waterloo German Shepherd Club.
