OVC Researchers Conducting Survey Regarding Access to Veterinary Care in Canada
CKC is pleased to promote a research project conducted by researchers from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, who are surveying organizations that provide services that address barriers to accessing veterinary care in Canada. The study will characterize what organizations in Canada are working to mitigate financial, geographical, cultural, and physical barriers to accessing veterinary care, what tools you are using, what services you provide and in what areas.
If your organization is attempting to increase access to veterinary care in Canada and there is an individual at your organization who is willing to fill out the survey with authority to provide details on behalf of the organization, you are invited to participate. Participation includes one 20-minute long eSurvey (you can also complete the survey over the phone). This research is being conducted by PhD Candidate Quinn Rausch under the supervision of Dr. Lauren Van Patter in the Department of Clinical Studies at the Ontario Veterinary College. If you have any questions, want to complete the survey over the phone, or need more information please email Quinn at
