Update Re: Pethealth Microchip Series 941


Members who are unable to register puppies microchipped with Pethealth Inc. (24petwatch) series 941—which is not currently approved by the National Companion Animal Coalition (NCAC)—are asked to contact CKC at information@ckc.ca to ensure their puppies can be registered.

NCAC is aware of the situation and has contacted Pethealth Inc. regarding the approval process for the 941 series, which can take several months. Until the Pethealth Inc. microchip series 941 has been approved, we ask members to refrain from purchasing these microchips.

CKC reminds members that purebred puppies must be implanted with NCAC-recognized ISO microchips to be eligible for CKC registration. You may review the most recent list of NCAC-approved microchips here.
