  • Joining a growing number of breeders of brachycephalic breeds who are taking an active role in enhance their breeding programs.
You participation also helps to grow the RFGS clinics to become one of the routine tests done in Canada. Your participation also has broader benefits including:
  • Giving back! Your host kennel club receives $20 of each registration fee to assist with fundraising efforts.
  • Allows CKC to share how RFGS clinics are going with government and industry stakeholders.
  • Growing the number of qualified RFGS examiners by ensuring that new shadowing veterinarians can examine an adequate number of dogs with varying grades, in order to gain experience and proficiency in the RFGS before becoming OFA approved.
  • Robust data collection that will support the development of ongoing research on brachycephalic breeds at England’s University of Cambridge.
