As of today, April 30, the Canadian Kennel Club bids a fond farewell to Jeff Cornett, who has served as our Executive Director since January 2021. After more than four years of dedicated leadership, Jeff is retiring, leaving behind significant transformation and progress at the CKC.
When Jeff joined the organization, the CKC was facing challenges, including a backlog of over 20,000 dog registrations and outdated IT systems. Under his leadership, these issues were addressed, leading to a more efficient operation. Today, CKC enjoys streamlined registration processes, improved event management, and enhanced communication channels, all of which have significantly improved service to our members.

Beyond operational improvements, Jeff worked closely with the CKC staff and Board of Directors to ensure the organization’s future success. His leadership helped solidify a foundation built on passionate members, dedicated volunteers, and a professional team, ensuring the CKC’s continued success in the years to come.
On behalf of the Board, staff, and all CKC members, we thank Jeff for his exceptional leadership and wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement. His contributions will leave a lasting impact on the CKC, and we will always appreciate the dedication and passion he brought to the organization.
