New CKC Registration Policy for Australian Kelpies


The Canadian Kennel Club has worked diligently to fill a gap in the registration requirements for Australian Kelpies. Effective January 1, 2026, the CKC will have processing allowances for their foundational Registries, Working Kelpie Council and North American Australian Kelpie Registry.

This streamlined process will significantly benefit Canada's breeding community by facilitating the registration of Australian Kelpie dogs and litters recognized by both organizations, thereby saving time and effort.
