Primary responsibilities of volunteer ambassadors include:
- Participating in national and provincial volunteer advocacy activities and events, including building positive relations with the government, animal welfare organizations, and other stakeholders, reaching out to MPPs, and advocating to elected officials.
- Sharing your experiences and expertise related to purebred dogs, breeding, canine health and well-being and other dog-related matters with the government and other key stakeholders.
- Representing CKC as a spokesperson with media representatives, key stakeholders, and CKC members.
- Staying informed on new and potential provincial and other legislation impacting purebred dogs and CKC members.
