2025 CKC/CDJA Advanced Conformation Judges Conference – Full Details & Registration Info


The Canadian Kennel Club, in partnership with the Canadian Dog Judges Association (CDJA), is pleased to share full details for the upcoming 2025 Advanced Conformation Judges Conference, taking place October 4–5, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

This comprehensive two-day event is designed for licensed conformation judges seeking to deepen their expertise and stay current with best practices in the ring. The program includes a keynote address from David Miller and a series of in-depth presentations by respected judges on breed type, critique writing, and the evaluation of specific breeds, including:
  • Azawakh
  • Dalmatian
  • English Springer Spaniel
  • Old English Sheepdog
  • Papillon
Additional highlights include breakout sessions, a CKC update, and the CDJA Annual General Meeting. Participants are also invited to a Meet & Greet sponsored by Royal Canin on Friday, October 3, and a group dinner on Saturday evening (cost not included in registration).

  • Conference Dates: Saturday, October 4 – Sunday, October 5, 2025

  • Fee: $295 + tax ($330.40 total) – includes lunch and two coffee breaks each day
  • Hotel Rate: $169/night + tax (mention CKC/CDJA Conference when booking)
  • Parking: $21/night + tax
  • Nearest Airport: Winnipeg International Airport (YWG)
  • Note: Breakfast is not included, and there is no hotel shuttle service
Participants must attend the full two-day program to receive a certificate. All conference materials will be provided on a USB stick.

Registration is open from June 12 to September 1, 2025. Please note that no refunds will be offered after the registration deadline.
