The Canadian Kennel Club invites all members to join us for our 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 12 to 4:30 p.m. MDT. The AGM will be held at the Coast Nisku Inn, Edmonton, with an option to attend virtually.

A highlight of this year’s AGM will be a presentation by Dr. Alison Skipper, Veterinary and Research Advisor at The Kennel Club (UK). Dr. Skipper will discuss why history matters to the future of purebred dog health and breeding.  Dr. Skipper will share the results of research she conducted on historical breed registers, and the impact of closed breed registers on the health and sustainability of purebred breeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for members to gain valuable insights from Dr. Skipper’s expertise while also receiving updates on CKC’s achievements and plans for the future.
