The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) invites members to a virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. EDT, held online via Zoom. This event will provide an update on the Integrated Breed Health Program (IBHP) and offer members the opportunity to ask questions and share feedback with the Breeder Relations Committee.
Launched in 2022, the IBHP focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of purebred dogs in Canada. The program is centred around five key pillars:
- Breeder Education
- Breeder Community Support
- Breed Health Strategies
- DNA (Genetic) Programs
- CKC Breeder Recognition
During the Town Hall, CKC will highlight new science-based education resources and ways to recognize breeders committed to breed preservation. The session will include a presentation followed by an interactive Q&A.
