CKC Launches New Ring Steward Education Program


Clubs have expressed a clear need for comprehensive education programs focused on the roles of show officials. In response, CKC Club Relations has worked closely with experienced ring stewards and judges to develop valuable training resources that support our clubs and events.

CKC is pleased to launch the first of several education programs on December 1, 2025:

Ring Steward Education V.101 – Conformation (All-Breed)

This free, online, on-demand program provides introductory training for anyone interested in supporting conformation events as a ring steward. Members and the public can enroll at no charge through CKC’s online learning platform.

To support clubs in recruiting potential stewards, CKC will publish a Ring Steward Directory on the Club Resources page of CKC.ca on January 15, 2026. The directory will be updated monthly to include the names of individuals who successfully complete the program and provide consent to be listed.
