New Listed Breed – Swedish Lapphund

We are pleased to announce that the Swedish Lapphund will soon be eligible to receive a Miscellaneous Certificate Number (MCN) with CKC. During the CKC Board of Directors meeting held on May 30th, 2025, a motion was approved to add the breed to the Listed Breeds.

The Swedish Lapphund will be eligible to participate in CKC events beginning January 1, 2026.

Members will be able to start registering Swedish Lapphunds starting November 20th, 2025.
