AKC Partners with CKC to Recognize Titles Across Borders 


The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC®) is excited to announce a new collaboration with the American Kennel Club (AKC®) that will allow CKC titles earned in Conformation, Obedience, and Rally to be officially recognized by the AKC. This initiative celebrates the achievements of our members and strengthens the bond between dog sport communities in Canada and the United States.  

Through this partnership, dogs that are AKC registered or listed and have earned eligible CKC titles can now have those titles recorded on their AKC records and pedigrees. Titles earned in the past also qualify for recognition, ensuring that the accomplishments of our members are honoured.  

Owners can apply through the AKC Title Application Portal (TAP), which provides a convenient way to record CKC titles on AKC records. For more details, visit the AKC Title Recognition Program webpage. View the AKC press release here.
