New Children's Activity Book Available for Download

The Canadian Kennel Club is pleased to share a new bilingual children's activity book designed to introduce young people to the world of purebred dogs, dog shows, Junior Handling, and responsible dog ownership.

Created by CKC member Beth Herr, the activity book features colouring pages, puzzles, mazes, connect-the-dots activities, and fun facts about purebred dogs and the Canadian Kennel Club. The resource is designed to help children learn about dogs and the many activities they can enjoy with them in a fun and engaging way.

Beth is a lifelong dog enthusiast who grew up participating in Junior Handling and later served as the Zone 8 Junior Handling Representative. Today, she is a dedicated breeder of Shih Tzus and a passionate supporter of purebred dogs. She created the activity book to share her love of dog shows and inspire the next generation of dog lovers.

This free resource is available for download and may be especially useful for CKC clubs participating in public education events, meet-the-breed activities, community fairs, dog shows, and Junior Handling initiatives.

The CKC extends its sincere thanks to Beth for her creativity, dedication, and contribution to the purebred dog community.
