We understand that the New Brunswick government is intending to introduce amendments and new regulations to the existing Animal Protection legislation, with the intent to go to legislation this fall. The government is interested in positive and constructive input on draft legislation from CKC members from all disciplines such as conformation, breeders, obedience/rally, hunting, agility etc.
We are looking for two or three representatives per discipline who are interested and available to attend a July meeting with the government—possibly in Fredericton or alternative location, once a date has been determined. Please email your contact information, along with your respective field to Paul Oslach at poslach@rogers.com by July 17, 2019 and we will be in touch with more details shortly.
Thank you,
The Canadian Kennel Club
