This November, eligible members will have the opportunity to vote for the 2021-2023 Board of Directors, important amendments to the CKC By-laws, and three breeds - the Japanese Akita, Parson Russell Terrier and Russkiy Toy - and their ROE for full recognition.

Now Available! More details on the upcoming special referendum and information about the candidates running for election in your Zone can be viewed here:

Also available is the ability to update your Elections and Referendums Communications preferences on your CKC portal account. Now is your chance to let us know if you would like to receive candidate information via email, and if you prefer a paper or electronic ballot.

To update your Elections and Referendums Communications preferences:
  1. Login to your CKC portal account and navigate to the “My Profile” page, located under “My CKC” in the blue menu bar.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Update Preferences” in the chart.
  3. Check the box next to the types of emails you would like to receive, confirm your email and press “Submit”.

Please note: If you do not update your preferences before October 15th, you will automatically receive campaign communications from candidates via email and will be registered to vote electronically in the upcoming election.
