Call for Applications: CKC Discipline Committee Opportunities

We're still looking for members to help support the Canadian Kennel Club's disciplinary process, and we've expanded our search. 

CKC members bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, both dog-related and beyond, that help make our committees stronger and more effective. CKC aims to recruit members from different zones across the country for all committees. 

We're currently seeking applications for: 

• Replacement Discipline Committee – A rare volunteer opportunity convened to hear specific cases where the regular Discipline Committee has recused itself to ensure the impartiality and fairness of the disciplinary process. 

• Discipline Committee – One vacancy on the standing Discipline Committee, with a term ending in March 2028. 

Given the quasi-judicial nature of both committees, members with a background in the legal field or experience working with tribunals are encouraged to apply.
