Scheduled Maintenance: CKC Member Portal Unavailable June 2


We're making litter registrations easier than ever. To support the launch of CKC's upgraded Litter Application and complimentary litter registrations, courtesy of Trupanion, the Member Portal will undergo scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, June 2.

Member Portal availability:
  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET: Member Portal unavailable
  • 4 to 6 p.m. ET: Partial access available
  • Wednesday morning: Full access to the Member Portal and all applications is expected to be restored

What's new?

The upgraded Litter Application has been redesigned to provide a more intuitive and efficient registration experience for breeders, including:
  • A modernized look and feel that aligns with the Canadian Born Dog Application
  • A guided application process that displays only the questions relevant to the information entered, making requirements clearer and easier to follow
  • The ability to save an application and return to it later if all information is not immediately available
  • Required document upload fields that appear throughout the application when needed, rather than only at the end of the process
  • Online litter registration submissions for litters where the sire or dam is on a registered lease, reducing the need for manual processing (lease agreement registrations will continue to be submitted manually)
  • A litter certificate preview prior to submission, allowing breeders to confirm owner information and other details before completing the application

As part of CKC's collaboration with Trupanion, CKC member breeders can now receive complimentary litter registrations.

When a litter registration application is submitted through the CKC Member Portal within 120 days of the litter's birth, Trupanion will cover the cost of the base litter registration fee.*

More information about this exciting new benefit will be available when the upgraded application launches.

*Trupanion will cover the cost of the base litter registration fee for eligible CKC member breeders. Litters must be registered on the Portal within 120 days after birth. The breeder is responsible for all additional costs, including foreign sire, multisire, or certificate-related fees.
