In collaboration with The Kennel Club, the CKC has added another avenue in which exhibitors can qualify their dogs for the world’s largest benched dog show. The Renaissance Dog Association Show held in Chilliwack, B.C. has been designated as a qualifying show.

With the recent spread of canine influenza across Asia, parts of the U.S. and most recently, two confirmed cases in Ontario, CKC advises all judges at CKC events ask exhibitors to open the dog's mouth for examination to ensure the health and safety of our dogs.
