The Dish turns one!

October 04, 2018
50-retriever-puppies.pngWhen turning one, a puppy (depending on breed) is normally very close to their adult size and weight. By one, most dogs will have all of their permanent teeth and adult coat. We at ‘The Dish’ imagine ourselves being a puppy and it turns out that just like a puppy, we’ve done a lot of growing in our one year of existence.

It seems like it was just yesterday that we debuted our first blog post ‘On my side of the desk’ – a behind the scenes perspective on the inner workings of the CKC written by Executive Director Lance Novak. From ‘My side of the desk’ to safety tips, to interviews--The Dish has covered a number of topics.

As a result of being through the teething process we’re ready to jump into adulthood and take ‘The Dish’ to the next level. Going forward you can still expect to see quality engaging blogs on a number of timely and relevant topics. You will see advice blogs, video blogs, interviews and more!

cake-1.jpgNow that we’ve touched base on what we’ve got planned going forward, we’d love to hear what YOU’D like to see on ‘The Dish’. What topics should we cover in our weekly posts? What types of content would you like to see? Would you like to be a guest contributor on ‘The Dish’? We want to hear from you! Please send us an email to thedish@ckc.ca with all of your suggestions or ideas for guest posts you’d like to write. We can’t wait to hear all of your wonderful ideas!

Finally, we would like to thank all of our loyal readers for checking back in every week to read our blog posts. We appreciate and value your continued support and we promise to keep the quality content coming. We look forward to another year of growth together!

The puppy list needs to be updated frequently and separate breeders by province

I would like to see directions written in some way to take people through the steps of purchasing a dog properly. Too many want to make an impulse purchase and end up with the backyard puppy producers who can supply a puppy NOW

Something on the lines of this page on my site http://yasashiikuma.com/2018/01/finding-the-very-best-puppy-for-you/ .

Not everyone will find my page - but they do go to the CKC
